About these terms
These terms cover your use of the JourneyListo website, the free diagnostic and the Rescue Pass. By using the site or buying the Rescue Pass, you agree to them. Based in Florida, USA.
What JourneyListo is (and isn’t)
- JourneyListo is practice-exam software for the Texas journeyman electrician exam. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by TDLR, PSI Services or NFPA.
- Our practice questions are original. They are not exam questions, and we never ask you what was on your exam.
- We don’t reproduce NEC text or tables. You need your own copy of the NEC.
- It’s a study aid only. It isn’t for real installations and doesn’t replace the NEC, the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) or professional judgment.
The free diagnostic
The diagnostic is free and provided as is. Its estimated score is a rough estimate from 12 practice questions, not a prediction of your exam result.
The Rescue Pass
- Price: $99 one-time (founding price; the regular price will be $149), in US dollars, plus any tax that applies. No subscription and no automatic renewal.
- Access: instant. As soon as your payment goes through, you can open the Rescue Pass, and we email a sign-in link to the address you used at checkout. Your access lasts 3 months from your purchase date.
- What’s included:
- Your dashboard: a personal plan from your diagnostic, progress by topic against the 70% line, and the next best step.
- Unlimited calculation practice in 11 topics, from voltage drop and box fill to ampacity and derating, conduit fill, grounding conductors, A/C and appliances, and EV and PV circuits. Step-by-step solutions in English and Spanish, why your pick was wrong, and a book-lookup mode that has you find the table values in your own NEC.
- Timed mock exams for both parts: Part 1 NEC knowledge (56 questions, 123 minutes) and Part 2 calculations (24 questions, 102 minutes), with the same time per question as the real exam and a full review. Resume where you left off.
- NEC knowledge practice by topic area (2026 NEC).
- NEC navigation drills: find it in your book against the clock.
- A printable NEC Book Prep Guide: what to highlight and which formulas to write in your own book before exam day, following PSI’s book rules.
- An AI tutor: tap “Explain this” on any question. It’s software, it can be wrong, so check the article it points to.
- AI tutor: it’s software, not a person. It explains questions and steps; it doesn’t do the calculations. Every calculation in JourneyListo is computed with the NEC formulas and checked by automated tests. The tutor can be wrong, so check the NEC article it points to. See the privacy policy for what we send to our AI provider.
- Refunds: full refund within 7 days of your purchase date, no reasons needed. After that, refunds are only available through the Pass Guarantee (conditions apply, see below). See the refund policy.
Using your access
- Your access is for you. Please don’t share your sign-in links or account, and don’t resell or copy our content.
- Don’t post, share or ask for actual exam content. The PSI candidate agreement forbids it, and so do we.
- We may suspend access that’s being misused.
Pass Guarantee (conditions apply)
The Pass Guarantee is not a promise that you’ll pass. It’s our promise about what we’ll do if you put in the work with JourneyListo and still don’t pass. In short: finish your plan, and if you don’t pass, get your money back or up to 6 more months free.
Who it covers
People who buy the Rescue Pass. One claim per person.
To qualify, all of these must be true
- While your access is active, you answer at least 300 practice questions in JourneyListo (calculations, NEC knowledge or navigation drills, in any mix).
- While your access is active, you complete at least 3 full timed mock exams for each exam part you’re taking, and you score at least 70% on your most recent mock exam for each of those parts.
- You take the Texas journeyman exam part(s) within 60 days after meeting conditions 1 and 2. (Meeting conditions 1 and 2 is what we call “finishing your plan”.)
- You send us your PSI score report within 30 days of your exam date. We only need your name, exam date, exam part and result. Never send or describe any exam questions; we’ll never ask.
If you qualify and don’t pass, you choose
- A refund of what you paid for the Rescue Pass, if you ask within 30 days of your score report date, or
- Free extended access until your next attempt (up to 6 more months).
Limits
- One claim per person.
- The refund covers the Rescue Pass price only, not exam fees, travel or other costs.
- It doesn’t apply if you already got a refund for that purchase, if you didn’t sit for the exam (no-show, cancellation or dismissal), or to exams other than the Texas journeyman exam.
- We check plan completion from your account records, and a person reviews every claim.
How to claim
Email [email protected] with “Pass Guarantee” in the subject, from the email on your account, and attach your PSI score report. We reply within 2 business days.
Our content
The site, questions, explanations and software belong to JourneyListo. NFPA 70®, National Electrical Code® and NEC® are registered trademarks of the National Fire Protection Association; other names belong to their owners.
Disclaimers
We work hard to keep every question and calculation accurate. If you spot an error, tell us at [email protected] and we’ll fix it within 24 hours. Even so, the site is provided “as is”. Apart from the Pass Guarantee and our refund policy, we don’t promise any exam result.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about JourneyListo is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, except where the law of your state says otherwise.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we’ll post the new date at the top, and we’ll email customers about changes that affect a purchase. Changes never take away the access, refund or guarantee you had when you bought. Questions: [email protected].
